Doubtful skies turned into a brilliant Sunny Day making a nice break from the grey rainy season and nineteen members came out to enjoy a stroke competition. The fairways were a little soggy so the lift ,clean, and place rule was employed to improve the lies.
Well "beware the injured golfer" was never more true as Garry Walker in his first round back from a tendinitis injury led the field with a net 71. Not in the competition but also with a net 71 was Steve Jepson. Second place for the money was a familiar winner lately Gary Cooke with a net 73. Third place prize was a tie between Ram and Alan with a net 76.
Next week Monday is a holiday and there is no booking for CMSG. Next Lanna day is Monday 19th
