Sixteen all-weather members and one guest turned out in the rain to play a soggy course and the rain didn't let up until the last group was safely in the restaurant drying off. After deciphering wet smudges and running ink from rapidly crumbling cards a winner was declared.
Peter Brown slogged his way to 36 points and took first prize. Second place was a four way tie with two in the competition and two not. Rob Lassig and Len Sparrow cashed in with 32 points while honourable mention goes to Pranee and Steve Jepson also with 32 points. Third place belonged to Ric with 31 points.
Next week, loved by some and hated by others is the monthly stroke competition on courses 3 & 1 even if it's raining!
